About Misty Lilley

With over 17 years of experience in public health, education, and IT, I am a passionate and dedicated Disease Intervention Specialist at the Commonwealth of Kentucky, where I conduct investigations, interviews, and interventions for communicable diseases. I am also an Adjunct Faculty at Kentucky Community & Technical College, where I teach Business Administration Systems and Computer & Information Technologies courses. I hold a M.A, M.B.A, and ED.S in Adult & Higher Education from Morehead State University, and I have a strong background in academic counseling, medical education, and nursing care. I have worked with various teams and organizations, such as UK HealthCare, University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and Morehead State University, to support, educate, and empower students, patients, and staff in various health-related fields. My core competencies include disease prevention and control, health education and promotion, data analysis and reporting, curriculum development and instruction, and communication and collaboration. I am motivated by the mission of improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the field of public health.
