Owner/Operator of MLS Consulting ~ “Taking it to the next level.” Working with clients who want help in doing all they can for the land in their care. As an instructor for Conservation Leaders for Tomorrow, a nationally recognized conservation education program, I am involved in training natural resource students as well as various state agency and federal personnel that lack an awareness of the role of hunting in conservation and the concept of natural resource principles. As a wildlife biologist for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and someone with a passion to share my love for the outdoors I taught in formal and informal, classroom and field situations. This included working with landowners in reaching their goals of good land stewardship as well as teaching ecological principles, outdoor skills, how to perform necropsies on various wildlife species and much more to both youth and adults alike. I gathered ecosystem wide population data for management of healthy populations of all wildlife species. As a ranch manager I managed cattle, prepared, planted, and irrigated fields, operated and maintained ranch equipment, maintained homes and structures, built fence; coordinated and supervised construction of facilities, supervised oilfield activity, supervised house staff and mechanics, coordinated and guided hunts, performed yearly surveys of wildlife populations, and compiled and analyzed harvest data.
