The quieter you are, the more you can hear. Lay low and grind!” Passionate does not come close to describe how I feel about the agriculture industry. Being raised on a row crop farm in east central Illinois, agriculture is in my blood. I strive to bring professional and accurate knowledge and skills to farmers, land owners and land managers. I bring expert knowledge through experience with personal practices, research and learning from trusted advisors to local farmers. I am not afraid of hard work, physical or mental. Whatever it takes to get the job done accurately and safely I am determined to find a way to complete any tasks at hand. Growing up I started summer jobs working for a local seed company in their sweet corn division. I enjoyed my time working those summers and eventually started to move up into different roles within the company. For one summer I went to United Prairie as a summer intern in 2005. I began to learn the ins and outs of custom applications, herbicides use and fertility operations. There I had made my mind if I was not going to be involved with operating a farm I would work in the industry in a supporting role with a company like U.P. Once in college I worked for two different soil sampling and crop scouting companies. After graduation from Parkland College with two degrees A.S. Ag business and A.S. Precision Farming Technologies I landed a job with Birkey's as a Precision Farming Specialist. I would put my degree to use by working on guidance systems, application control systems and data analysis. I quickly found an opportunity to move down the road to work for Illini FS as a crop specialist. This is where I gained so much knowledge about production agriculture working with so many knowledgeable individuals inside and out of the company. I was able to maintain a customer base and develop a long lasting relationship with the local growers. As things change in my time with FS I had made a move over to my current employer, Kitchen Seed Company. I am proud of my work for Kitchen Seed Co. I have excelled in bringing accurate knowledge and job performance towards the company and local growers for their needs. One role I enjoy the most is handling and packaging products that are shipped for exports to other countries. I take great pride and passion with my work ethics. It will be hard to find another individual who matches my passion for this industry.
