I integrate big-picture thinking, leadership skills and cutting-edge data science tools to empower organizations to make data-driven decisions and optimize the way people work. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria and a Master of Data Science from the University of British Columbia. With extensive experience working in Finance and leading multi-stakeholder initiatives with Non-Profits, I develop technical solutions from the perspective of a Data Scientist and an Operational Manager – ensuring projects reflect all available data in the business environment and remain focused on achieving objectives. I connect across organizations using Business Process Mapping, Exploratory Data Analysis and interpersonal skills to discover underlying patterns, gaps and actionable insights that I communicate in simple terms to inform business strategy. Once opportunities are identified, I take a collaborative approach to create evidence-backed, sustainable, scalable, and game-changing improvements that enable staff to refocus on their mission. Whether transforming large and messy datasets into impactful visualizations, optimizing business processes, automating repetitive tasks, or training colleagues, I am passionate about weaving data into the operations, mindset, and identity of any organization I work with. This, in turn, inspires future innovation and growth. Outside of work, you can find me photographing wildlife, hiking, playing soccer, and enjoying time with family and friends.
