About Mitch Graham

I graduated from Indiana University in May of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management. The School of Public and Environmental Affairs has afforded me an exemplary education in environmental science, environmental policy, and applied ecology. I have experience coordinating with environmental regulators such as environmental managers, environmental engineers, and wildlife biologists to research, monitor, and manage environmental resources. I also have experience conducting habitat mapping, wildlife surveys, and wetland mapping using GIS software. I am responsible for identifying, monitoring, and evaluating endangered, threatened, or rare (ETR) species. My roles as a biologist and environmental scientist have prepared me well in evaluating and mitigating potential effects of various projects on natural resources, wildlife, and endangered species. I also have experience with coastal conservation and management activities related to habitat restoration and management. I have experience coordinating and presenting scientific documentation and consultation with local, state, and federal entities relating to wildlife species and natural resources. I have experience working within project deadlines in a team environment to prepare and present National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation. This includes the completion of reports and permits relating to Endangered, Threatened, and Rare (ETR) Species documentation, Waters of the U.S. and Wetland Delineation Reports, Environmental Assessments (EA), Wetland Modeling and Monitoring, Red Flag Investigations (RFI), Ecological Evaluations, and various Water Resource Permit Applications. These projects require data collection for scientific documents, efficient modeling of various ecosystems, and agency coordination.
