About Mitch Rivett

I was born in England along with my twin brother and we lived there until the age of 9. In 2003 my parents decided to move to Florida in the United States of America. We went through a massive move and we had an unforgettable time. My family means everything to me and we have been through a lot of changes in our lives. I see it as that I grew up in America, I became a teenager there and I saw a big part of the world and experienced life in another country. It has definitely made me see the world differently. The educational system is different in America but the Schools I enrolled in were very hands-on and strongly technology based; computer skills were necessary to get through most classes. I have worked with numerous applications throughout my education including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects), CorelDraw, FlexiSign PRO, and FinalCut PRO. Both in and out of school I am a dedicated team player who will guide others and learn from them as well. I have an open mind and I'm willing to be taught new things every day. My experience in America was amazing but obtaining citizenship wasn't as easy as we thought, after 9 years of trying we decided to return to Europe with a new perspective and a fresh outlook. As a citizen of the United Kingdom and the European Union, I see that I have more opportunities here than I did as an immigrant in America. I have traveled to many places throughout these years with a lot of them being located in Europe as well as internationally; The Bahamas, Bermuda, Malaga, Valencia, Barcelona, Cannes, Genoa, Pisa, Sorrento, Rome, Venice, Avignon and Madrid. All these locations have given me a taste of different cultures, languages and broadened my mind for both art and design.
