About Mitch Watson

I am a pastoral care ministry professional serving in two settings. First, serving as the Director of Pastoral Care at First Presbyterian of Fayetteville. I am the designated pastor to provide personal spiritual care to a 600+ member congregation with a focus on the Homebound and hospitalized parishioners. Second, I am a Pruitt Health Hospice Chaplain providing emotion and spiritual support to terminally ill patients of all faiths in homes and facilities in southeast North Carolina. In both settings I provide non -judgement compassionate empathic listening skills, calmness in crisis, cultural sensitivity, spirtual presence, administrative and worship leadership. Well-tenured in providing direct spiritual care to indivduals,groups and families. I bring a wide range of creative skills both spiritually and administratively to help people to reach beyond themselves.
