About Mitch Young
I started at UPS in April of 2015 as a pre-loader and after a short few months was promoted to supervisor, and then again to the lead pre-load supervisor. I am personally responsible for all the daily operations of the morning shift pre-load. I was apart of a team that helped in implementing the company's new Smart Scan System. We are now one of the few centers in our region to use this system successfully. This system has risen our center to one of the top five centers in our Ohio Valley region. During this time at UPS, I have worked on my Associates Degree of Applied Science in Industrial Technology. I studied motor controls, hydraulic and pneumatic power, PLC's, programming robotics, as well as trouble shooting on mechanics.
