About Mitchell Borger

I am a business minded attorney, counselor and manager - honing my skills with three in-house legal departments and now in a law firm setting. My practice areas include employment counseling, training, investigations, mediation, arbitration, litigation, litigation management and operations counseling (safety, loss prevention / security). From 2006 through 2012, I managed the uninsured litigation portfolio for the Macy's, Bloomingdale's and the subsidiaries, which included the management of a in-house litigation team and the relationships with outside counsel and support providers. My management experience included direct management of attorneys and paralegals, along with growing an in-house litigation team which ultimately saved the Corporation more that $2M per annum. My clients consider me to be a solutions oriented, counselor, trusted advisor and manager, who has and can quickly adapt to change. My partners and colleagues consider me to be a strong manager with excellent communication and administrative skills. My goal is to continue representing management side executives on employment law issues and the defense of employment litigation.
