About Mitchell Brown

Some of my interests lie in project management, electrical engineering and lifelong learning! I have always had an interest in technology—I would read engineering magazines for hours, whenever I could, I studied how systems worked, and I would study how to leverage project management! What began as a mild curiosity as a young child has grown into a full career path where I am building, improving and managing technical systems that make the world a better place. My post-secondary education began at Mohawk College in a program called Electrical Engineering Technology with an emphasis on circuits, electrical theory, mathematics, coding and project management principles. I have also built on my technical foundation with a Bachelors of Technology from Memorial University and is currently working in public infrastructure with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). Outside of my employment, I enjoy creating websites, cycling and running; all of which engage either my cerebral side or creative sides! I appreciate the connection with the engineering, transit, infrastructure, urban technology, and project leadership communities. The more connections, the better!
