About Mitchell Brown

Having completed my degree in Paramedic Science at the University of Hertfordshire receiving a 1st Class with Honours; receiving the University Prize for outstanding academic achievement and contribution to the programme. During my time at university I was President of the student paramedic society organising CPD talks, social events, and the peer mentoring program.I have experience in event medical work, working at a variety of different events and also as a medic on movie sets. I am currently undertaking my MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice looking to progress into emergency medicine and work towards RCEM credentialing in the future. Having researched how Paramedic's can communicate effectively with Autistic patients this drove my passion to seek what strategies are in place to improve service delivery. As well as that, I have made a mini 3 part CPD series for Paramedic's to increase their knowledge and confidence around Autism, which can be found on the College of Paramedics CPD hub. I have special interests in Autism, PHEM, Sports Medicine and Ultrasound (PoCUS).
