About Mitchell Burns
I'm a graduate from Canterbury University in New Zealand, having studied a double degree in International Business and Chinese. Following graduation in 2012, I moved to China to pursue further studies in the language and business, completing a Master's in International Trade () taught entirely in Chinese. I have been an integral part of the China Skinny team, leading projects, managing clients, speaking both in China and internationally, and bridging the cultural divide. I'm particularly interested in leveraging and playing data analytics to glean insights from consumers, e-commerce or other sources to help answer questions and propel companies forward. My background in business and language provides a strong basis for working with or between cultures and countries. On a more personal note, I'm very interested in travel which has seen me live in France, China and the Czech Republic, as well as traveling through much of Europe. Language is also a huge passion of mine which has married very well with my love of travel and other cultures.
