About Mitchell Cholley

I have always loved the themed entertainment industry and I have stopped at nothing to learn more about themed entertainment. I started my career working in Ride Operations and Maintenance at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for 4 seasons. This experience helped solidify my decision to stay in this industry for my professional career. I attended the University of Cincinnati and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I had five co-op experiences at UC. In Spring 2019 for my first co-op, I went to China and served as a Teaching Assistant for over 100 Chinese students at Chongqing University. Next, for my second and third semesters of co-op, I worked at Invotec, a Bio-Medical manufacturing company. There I learned a lot about SolidWorks and what it was like to work in a real engineering environment. I then worked as a Ride Maintenance Co-op for Kings Island and Cedar Point. In this role, I helped prepare a variety of rides for opening and I wrote documents on ride maintenance procedures. Finally, I worked at LifeFormations as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op through April 2022. There I was able to truly able to design for the themed entertainment industry for the first time! Currently, I am an Applications Engineer at Entertainment Project Services in Henderson, Nevada. I have been there since February of 2024 and have already completed several projects. I am currently working with our Sales, Fabrication and Design teams to deliver detailed and timely proposals to our clients. These experiences are helping me grow professionally in so many ways and I can't wait to see more of our projects open later this year!
