For 25 years I've been perfecting digital experiences that are beautiful, fast, and accessible. Career Highlights: As Lead Accessibility Architect at Level Access, I helped Fortune 500 companies, organizations, and tech industry leaders to measure and deliver digital accessibility for their customers with disabilities. I trained and mentored teams of accessibility experts to apply Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, U.S. Revised Section 508, and European EN 301 549 standards to web sites, mobile apps, PDF and office documents, kiosks and point-of-sale hardware devices, desktop software, and authoring tools. Presenter at the CSUN Assistive Technology conference since 2013. My presentation on teaching accessibility to web developers was one of the top 5% selected for the “Best of 2015 CSUN” video collection. ‌ ‌ As front-end web development lead and senior accessibility specialist at JPMorgan Chase, redesigned Chase online banking to meet and exceed WCAG 2.0 criteria. ‌ Built a successful consulting firm specializing in user-centered web design, for clients including Bank of America and California Governor Gray Davis. As an IAAP Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA), I have the hard skills and accomplishments in front-end web development and web accessibility, as well as the leadership skills and commitment, to be a force for good in the digital accessibility world.
