About Mitchell Evenson

I'm a developing audio producer and literary editor with a demonstrated history of working in the online media industry. Since taking my first creative writing course in college and joining my school's literary journal the same year, my love for writing and editing has only grown. It's a privilege to help any writer sculpt and shape their writing so as to best feature their authentic voice. Through my experience at various literary journals as an editor and podcast producer, I've honed my skills in poetry, creative writing and editing, copy editing, publishing, sound design, and communication. In my own time as a musician, I've expanded my understanding of lyricism, mixing and editing, and publishing audio. I have five years of experience in the customer service industry as well, spanning a variety of roles in food and beverage service. Each position I've held, whether as a server, busser, wine attendant, bartender, or trainer, has expanded my understanding of what creates memorable, enjoyable moments for guests. I've sharpened my instincts for anticipating the needs of guests, as well as assessing the level of attention and the type of atmosphere a guest desires. These experiences and interests have shaped me into a strong media, communication, and creative professional.
