I possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal, this is a result of my experience as a Sales Representative, spending my day on the phone lines and on video calls, as well as writing long form sales emails and responding to customers. Whilst working as a Sales Representative at Lightwaverf, I’ve written multiple sales templates and handled high profile associates where accuracy in communication is key. As a result of my own personal enjoyment of writing, I’ve worked very closely with the marketing team and assisted in crafting the materials used to announce and close sales for example. Furthermore, I have extensive note taking skills due to the number of project calls that I’ve been involved in, meaning I know how to identify key pieces of information and then applying them to various sales initiatives.I enjoy, and am experienced in, talking with people on a one to one basis for long periods of time, both in person and on the phone. As a Sales Representative, it is my responsibility to carefully listen to the customer and identify exactly what they need, whether from a sales perspective or a customer care one. As a result, I’d be more than comfortable calling everyone and anyone necessary, at any time, to gather the information required to make the best article possible.In terms of time keeping and working to schedules, it’s something that I’ve been doing for several years now in sales. I set my own individual deadlines within the overarching framework assigned by my manager. These deadlines demonstrate my discipline and hardworking nature, which is essential to both working in sales and in research, I am no stranger to early mornings and late nights! By planning my role in this manner, it gives me the ability to effectively complete my work and attend meetings in what can be a fast paced and fluid environment.Additionally, I am experienced in attending shows for the company, which has left me with exceptional personal face-to-face communication skills. Therefore, I would have no problem directly corresponding with clients, even potentially frosty ones. This high level of personal skills also makes me an effective team player throughout the organisation. Therefore, I would have no issue working closely with others on a post and am very comfortable working in an office full of people.
