About Mitchell Greencorn

After 25 years in the broadcast field I have a wide range of skills ranging from technical and production skills in television production. Maintenance and installation of new gear and repairing of different types of cables and equipment. I have worked in most areas of production doing jobs from directing multi camera shoots, switching, lighting, replay, character generator, ENG, editing and audio. I have produced sports programming, elections, music events, telethons and Remembrance Day coverage from local coverage to international broadcasts. Have various experience in different forms of signal transmission from RF modulators, microwave transmission, satellite uplink and fibre optic as well as building closed circuit RF for internal broadcast. After moving to a Volunteer Services Coordinator I was responsible for the recruitment, training, scheduling and retention of over 100 volunteers which allowed coverage of over 200 studio and mobile productions annually. This gave me experience in both Human Resources as well as Health and Safety which promoted a safe and exciting work environment. I also have experience in PR, promoting both the company as well as the volunteer program. I have worked on, coordinated and executed several recruitment and promotions events.
