About Mitchell Hartigan

I am a recent GMU grad with a Film and Video Studies degree (no, it doesn't mean I just watched movies), I learned lots of skills and met a lot of people that have given me the power to conquer the film industry (I hope). I have worked on 8 student films, including 1 that I wrote and directed called "Don't Think", which was awarded Best Production Design at the GMU Film Festival. I learned so much from those experiences, especially how to quickly create and edit short stories that can be easily watched and digested. This gives me skills to help with creating promotional material for businesses or non-profits. But, with all this experience I still have a lot to learn about media production and would love to work under someone who can teach me more. I also have a horror film podcast and have my own reviews that I post on Letterboxd. This shows my skills in writing and producing content in a condensed fashion. I am very driven through these projects and I will bring that excitement to any company or individual I work with. I hope my ambitious excitement will attract anyone interested in working with me. I still have lots to learn but, I have many skills that are continuing to grow!
