About Mitchell Johnson

My name is Mitchell Johnson and I am born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. I graduated from Tennessee State University with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My final clinical rotation required the completion of a 14 week acute care experience at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with entry level competence. I have moved back to Jacksonville, and am currently practicing full time at an outpatient location. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University before initiating my graduate studies, providing a long-standing background in health and wellness. My background is primarily Maitland-based, however I acquired 10 weeks of experience using the McKenzie approach while in an outpatient rotation as a student. Over half of my experience has been in the outpatient setting, and I have also acquired a variety of experiences in the acute care setting at Vanderbilt University Medical Center ranging from SICU to General Medicine Step Down Unit. My record of exceptional academic and clinical status leads me to believe an investment in my employment would be returned ten-fold. I am ready to work hard and to learn my profession extensively!
