Along with several outstanding colleagues, I have been selected for the 2023 President’s Club at Altice USA/News 12. This honor is bestowed to only a handful of employees for their hard work and dedication in moving the company forward. Experienced in all facets of master control (broadcast operations) from both the management and the hands-on operations side, including live and taped program origination with commercial integration. Knowledgeable in all master control room equipment from several different Automation systems including Imagine (formally Harris/Louth) and Evertz to VTR's, Digital Disk Recorders, Servers, Switchers, Routers, Telos, GFX and Test equipment. Well versed in troubleshooting all on-air technical issues to a successful resolution. Operate multi-channel networks during live programming events, including sports, news and entertainment from around the world. Experienced with transmission routing and signal acquisition for both satellite and fiber. Highly praised team leader having managed a staff of over 40 master control operators across a 24 x 7 broadcast environment.
