As the Airport Director for the City of Sedalia, I oversee the operations, safety, and strategic growth of Sedalia Regional Airport. My role involves managing day-to-day operations, leading personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working closely with local, state, and federal partners to develop and promote the airport as a regional asset. I’m also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), a role I’ve held since September 2023, where I continue to share my passion for aviation by training the next generation of pilots. My academic path through Liberty University is shaping me into a well-rounded aviation professional, with a long-term goal of becoming a commercial airline pilot. I hold FAA certifications in Commercial and Private Pilot ASEL, AMEL, and Instrument Airplane. My background in Computer Science from State Fair Community College has strengthened my analytical thinking, enhancing both my instructional methods and operational decision-making. Whether in the cockpit or on the ground, I’m committed to safety, precision, and excellence—helping others take flight while steering the future of aviation in Sedalia.
