As the Associate Chief of Pharmacy, Select Operations at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, I oversee the pharmacy services for select inpatient and outpatient areas, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. I also manage the procurement and distribution of pharmaceuticals and supplies, and coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. I have a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Nova Southeastern University, and a board certification in psychiatric pharmacy (BCPP) from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. I have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, patient education, and direct patient care, with a focus on mental health and substance use disorders. I have also served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army for over six years, leading and supporting various pharmacy operations and initiatives in domestic and overseas settings. I am passionate about advancing the pharmacy profession and improving the healthcare system for veterans and their families.
