About Mitchell Roedel

Hello, I’m Mitchell. I graduated from the University of Tennessee in July 2021 with a B.S in Accounting with a Finance collateral. I am persistent and motivated to learn new concepts, challenge myself and others to new ways of thinking, and helping others achieve their goals with maximum efficiency. I graduated UTK the following year within the Masters in Accountancy program, where I will focused on Information Management. During the course of the Masters program, I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the undergraduate department of the Haslam College of Business, providing guidance to developing business students and assisting in Excel-based problem solving skills. Being able to help others succeed while sharing my personal experiences and knowledge about the program was very rewarding, while also providing complexities into teaching and school workload balance. In addition, I am the first in my family to attempt and obtain a graduate degree program and I believe it is my drive, passion, and ambition to succeed the has excelled me to do so. Academics is a priority for me, along with adaptation to new environments and helping others, along with myself, succeed in their career path. I learned a lesson from my previous running coach and great philosophical author, Paul Olsen:"There are three C's in life: Choice, Chance, Change. You must make the choice, to take a chance, if you want anything to change."
