About Mitchell Waetke

K&K Hardware taught me the importance of communication and a hardened work ethic to service customers and help others understand more about the issues they may be having. K&K Hardware also was a very large motivator in my path to understanding situations and applying my knowledge to solve any problem to the best of my ability. After some time studying engineering in college I found an internship opportunity at Mobotrex. Here I found the necessary skills for working in the engineering industry and improved upon them as much as I could, which includes Python, SQL and VBA. One of the most important project I believe I have completed at Mobotrex would be Submittals Automation which, at the basic level, reads in a customer's order, compiles a list of PDF's, edits those PDF's based on the items ordered and finally saves the compilation as a Submittal PDF file. This Automation cut down the usual time of completing a Submittal from and hour & a half to around 15-10 minutes. Lots of other projects like the Ship Plan, SRO Report Reader & many more improved my skills for the work environment.
