About Mithresh K Pushpan

Mithresh is a Geotechnical engineer with more than 7 years of experience, currently working at Systra UAE and has been part of renowned projects in the UK, Canada, Australia, Middle East and India. He has good exposure to numerical modelling and has carried out modelling for complex geotechnical structures in Plaxis 3D and 2D. He is proficient with prominent geotechnical software like Plaxis, Geostudio, Rocscience, PDisp, Wallap and with several international standards including AASHTO LRFD, Australian Standard, CSA Standard, British Standard, Eurocode, AREMA, FHWA, ASTM. He has worked as a design engineer in High Speed 2 (HS2) which is a planned high-speed railway in the United Kingdom. He has been part of the geotechnical engineering design team for the Etihad rail 2B+C project which is a passenger freight railway network connecting the UAE & GCC and various hospitality projects in the Middle East. He has good exposure in rock mechanics, stereo net analysis, site reconnaissance survey. He was also involved in rock slope stabilisation and rock fall protection design for several railway and highway projects in India. He has proven resource management and budget monitoring skills. He has successfully developed python codes to automate design tasks.
