Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. For as long as I can remember, I have been in sales. I’ve sold everything under the sun from Jewelry to precious stones, clothing, accessories, art, decorations and I’ve even helped people sell themselves! I’ve sold things in both wholesale and retail, I’ve managed a boutique, I’ve sold in markets and country fairs. I’ve hit the pavement, going door-to-door in USA, Germany, various countries in Europe, as well as the Philippines, Chile, Peru, India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Then I reached a point where I burned out. I couldn’t face another customer. I dreamt of just working from home in my jammies. With the onset of the internet, I have applied myself, I got the hang of it and now I work from the confines of my cozy home. Most of the time I’m in a comfortable track suit. These days, I am no longer in direct sales, but instead support small businesses helping them grow. Now I am building websites, managing e-commerce stores, providing support for eBay, Amazon and Shopify accounts. I optimize websites for search engines, social media and branding efforts; I manage virtual team operations and provide a wide range of other virtual administrative tasks. I enjoy my job because I don’t have to worry about maintaining my own inventories or traveling anymore. As a business woman with many years of business experience, I understand how businesses works and what they need. The challenges of helping a business get off the ground is a joy that brings meaning. I love to share in those successes and draw from that experience. I am open for remote project oriented job opportunities.
