With over 10 years of work experience in the insurance industry, I am a skilled and compassionate claims specialist and studying to be a certified family nurse practitioner. I have a passion for helping people and resolving complex problems, and I strive to provide high-quality customer service and fair settlements for both parties. I was recently working at State Farm, one of the leading insurance providers in the country, where I investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto claims in an assigned area. In my most recent role, I handled various types of claims, from minor damages to serious injuries, and communicate with customers, agents, attorneys, and other stakeholders through phone, e-mail, in-person, or different electronic media. I verify the coverage, liability, and extent of damage for each claim, and determine whether the loss will be covered or compensated. I also review the agents' claims for mistakes and fraud prevention, negotiate the settlement amounts and terms with the involved parties. To perform these tasks, I leverage my skills in contract negotiation, customer relationship management, and customer service, as well as studying to become a nurse practitioner. I have successfully resolved multiple claims and received positive feedback from both customers and managers.
