About Miyoko Shimura

I am a Data Engineer, passionate about leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to solve real-world challenges in production. After graduating from KOSEN, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at a university in the United States, and is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Financial Engineering with a focus on quantitative analytics. Research My research focuses on time series analysis for detecting inflection points in disruptive technologies. This work was presented at the Information Processing Society of Japan in 2025. Humanitarian Commitments As a Tech Community Catalyst, I manage a community of over 2,200 Japanese engineers at Human Network KOSEN, contributing to the development of Japan’s next generation of tech talent.
