About Mko Balogun

With over 25 years of experience in the real estate and facilities management industry, I am a leader, entrepreneur, teacher, mentor, and community developer. I am passionate about creating and managing sustainable smart cities and urban redevelopment and renewal projects across Africa. As the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Global Property & Facilities International Ltd, I oversee the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the company, which provides integrated real estate services, facilities management, and project management solutions to clients in various sectors. I am also a partner at CSM Advisory and Founder of DMB Smart Cities Africa, a firm that offers advisory services on smart city development, urban planning, and infrastructure management. Additionally, I am a certified facilities manager, a senior research fellow, a member of several international and national committees, an adjunct lecturer, and a mentor. I have published, presented, and trained on various topics related to my field of expertise, such as business ethics, leadership, and innovation. I hold multiple certificates and an honorary doctorate degree in management from recognized institutions.
