About Mladen Vazic

I am an IT professional that was born and raised in Tennessee. I currently reside in Nashville, TN and am attending Middle Tennessee State University for a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies with a focus in Information Technology. I come from a family of refugees from Yugoslavia so hard work and adversity are my middle name. Currently, I am working as Clinical SD Analyst for HCTec, a company based around clinical IT. I am striving to grow within the company and learn by starting from the ground up. My job is to assist end users with computer issues and escalate issues that I am unable to resolve, accordingly. I moved to Nashville in 2020 with the intention of starting a security company. As highlighted within my work experience, I spent the past 3 years learning the ins and outs of security and the various styles of security within different organizations. I chose to move to IT to establish a more concrete position and pursue my passion for computers. Within my studies at MTSU, I have been able to gain knowledge within the field of computers as well as business. I have taken several business communication classes to better my skills and understanding of communication within a professional organization and setting. I have taken several computer classes to boost my knowledge of computers, allowing me to gain the edge on competing employees and to allow myself to stand out when promotions roll around. The skills I have gained to date are: Active Directory Network Security Microsoft Office 2016/365 (parts of the outdated 2010 as well) SailPoint Bomgar and LogMeIn Imprivata, SecureAuth, MS Authenticator (2FA/MFA) Linux OS, Mac OS, Chrome OS and of course, Windows
