About Mo Chapa

I’ve been in aviation for over 15 years, and I still get the same satisfaction from a clean install or a well-rigged control surface as I did when I first started. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of aircraft—everything from 737s and 747s to F/A-18s and UH-60 Blackhawks—and whether it’s a production build, a heavy mod, or a flight control rig, I take pride in doing the job right the first time. Over the years, I’ve taken on some big responsibilities—leading structural builds, mentoring new techs, and helping teams stay on schedule without cutting corners. I’ve worked closely with engineers and inspectors, solved tough layout and fit-up challenges, and rigged flight controls that had to be just right. For me, it’s about being consistent, being dependable, and never losing pride in the work—even when the job is tough. That mindset is what’s carried me through, and it’s what I bring to every hangar I walk into.
