About Moaz Ahmad

My vision is to create successful communities built on ownership, learning and service. My mission is to bring diverse and wide-ranging perspectives to community planning, infrastructure and development. My goals are to build and sustain communities where everyone has access and everyone can live, move, work and thrive. Over 25 years I have worked with community stakeholders taking ownership of their communities. This includes policy development, community-focused consultation, community benefits and community partnerships, especially around mobility, land use, transit and infrastructure projects. I did this by identifying, introducing and implementing better, more effective and empowering ways to bring communities together, sharing knowledge, understanding and learning through non-traditional approaches. I guide creativity and innovation that breaks down silos and encourages personal and organizational growth. My three primary areas of focus are:*Transforming traditional approaches to mobility *Aligning development, transportation/mobility and infrastructure to promote smart, sustainable growth *Supporting communities (especially those feeling left out/ignored) to empower themselves If you're interested in, or working in these areas, please reach out. Some achievements:+Chaired the Policy & Government Relations Committee at the Brampton Board of Trade for 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 +Developed and introduced the concepts of partnership-based micromobility and transit-integrated micromobility +Planned and implemented the first micromobility pilot in the Greater Toronto Area with the City of Brampton people) which led to the first city-wide pilot (brampton.ca//eScooters)+Introduced transit-integrated micromobility in Canada and Ontario's Greater Golden Horseshoe region (10.5 million people, 28% of Canada's GDP)+3× founder/co-founder +Designed policy and governance structures for the Land Public Transport Commission Malaysia +Founded DTI Nexus to integrate development, transportation and infrastructure
