As a Staff Registered Nurse II at Kaiser Permanente, my focus is to deliver high-quality care within the Neuro step-down, EMU, Telemetry units. I specialize in monitoring and caring for patients with neurological conditions who are transitioning out of the intensive care unit (ICU), requiring close observation but not as critical as those in the full neuro ICU. Also specialized in monitoring patients on EMU monitor for epilepsy. With a proven track record, a rich background in primary care nursing as a Staff Registered Nurse at Dignity Health - Cardiovascular Intervention Unit, my expertise lies in managing cardiac rhythms using ECGs by identifying any abnormalities and taking necessary actions to ensure patient stability. administering medications, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes through collaborative efforts with healthcare teams. The heart of my mission is to provide care that respects the dignity of each individual. Utilizing advanced life support certifications and proficiency in electronic health record systems like Epic, Meditech, and Cerner, my goal is to facilitate excellent healthcare services.
