About Mohamad Itani

I have been working in the Civil/Geotechnical Engineering field since I completed my undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at Beirut Arab University (Lebanon) back in 2013. Achieving the top position in my class with the highest GPA among all engineering students earned me the prestigious Jamal Abed Al Nasser prize, a testament to my dedication and academic excellence. Khatib & Alami, a leading Engineering Consultancy Firm in Lebanon and the Middle East, recruited me after graduation marking the commencement of my professional career. Subsequently, I pursued and attained a master’s degree in Civil Engineering with distinction from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) in 2017. I spent the last 10 years working at Khatib & Alami, Lebanon and moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2023. I have wide experience in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with combined depth knowledge in the technical and managerial aspects. I worked on numerous Infrastructure, Building and Geotechnical projects/proposals, along the advancement in Project Management Consultancy. My Project Management activities included my involvement at the proposal stage, contract preparation and project kickoff with client facing, technical and financial feasibility studies, budgeting, scheduling, management of client requests with efficient on time delivery, technical and quality management activities on projects, coordination between different disciplines through all project stages, revision of construction drawings and specifications, generation of risk registers and mitigation plans while applying agile strategic actions. I look forward to leveraging my extensive experience and skills in contributing to and leading impactful projects in the ever-evolving field of Engineering.
