Was responsible for performing the nursing service for patients admitted to the CCU including monitoring patients and introducing medications including disposal and calculation of the doses, monitoring for signs of heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, shock and arrhythmias also was responsible for post Cath care of patients and monitoring for hematoma formation and management of other post Cath complications e.g: vasovagal attacks, bleeding and ischemia of the extremities involved in the cardiac catheterisation. have been involved in the acute care of many critical cardiac situations like acute myocardial infarction (STEMI and non STEMI) and Unstable Angina with good experience in different techniques of management e.g thrombolytic therapy and 1ry PCI. Also other critical cardiac situations like Acute heart failure and Pulmonary Edema with good experience in the care of mechnically ventilated patients ( invasive and non invasive mechanical ventilation). have good experience in Peripheral Intravenous access and collection of blood samples and different cultures eg ( Sputum, Urine, Blood). Pre and postoperative care of patients including Open Heart Surgery including-Use of Intraaortic Balloon Counterpulsation in augmenting cardiac output ( as a cardiac assist device ) and myocardial perfusion-Pre and post operative care of Cardiac surgeries e.g. valve surgeries and coronary bypass surgeries-Management of postoperative complications e.g. bleeding, cardiac tamponade, Stug valve, wound infection and arrhythmias - Management of cardiac arrest including open cardiac massage. Have agood experience with different diagnosis in CCU,with goodExperience in using ECMO machine and CRRT prisma flex. pre and post operative care of patients including open heart surgeries.use of intra aortic balloons counter pulsation in augmentation cardiac out put.
