About Mohammad Abulawi

As a program coordinator at International Medical Corps, I manage a diverse team of over 70 staff across urban and camp locations, overseeing large-scale health, mental health, and child protection projects, including significant MHPSS initiatives. I have more than 13 years of experience in humanitarian aid, project management, and community development, working with vulnerable populations in challenging contexts. I collaborate with multiple stakeholders, such as government entities, medical centers, and local CBOs, to deliver targeted services, enhance project sustainability, and streamline processes. I also coordinate extensively with multi-national donors, ensuring strict adherence to donor guidelines and alignment of project objectives and outcomes. My mission is to improve the well-being and resilience of communities affected by conflict, displacement, and violence, using evidence-based and participatory approaches. I am a dedicated advocate, passionate about building the capacities and voices of my team and the people we serve.
