About Mohammad Adhitya

Mohammad Adhitya was born in Jakarta on March 2, 1977. The man who is familiarly called by his nickname “Ditto” has had an enormous interest in vehicles and aircraft technology since a young age because he grew up in the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) where his father served as a military pilot since 1971. He finished his primary education at SDN 1 Saptorenggo Malang, followed by secondary education at SMPN 3 Malang and SMPN 115 Jakarta before he eventually went on to upper secondary education in SMAN 8 Jakarta. Subsequently, he graduated bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Universitas Indonesia in early and his graduate education in the field of automotive engineering at the Fachhochschule Offenburg Germany in early 2004. Furthermore, in 2016, he got his doctorate degree in the institute of automotive engineering TU-Braunschweig Germany. Mohammad Adhitya also holds a Private Pilot License (PPL) in 2001. Mohammad Adhitya was a team leader of the electric vehicle club in 1997 during his bachelor study and also a founder of the Universitas Indonesia Shell Eco-Marathon team in 2009 and Universitas Indonesia Aeromodelling Club in 2007. He is currently concentrating on researching electric vehicles as part of the Team Molina-UI (National Electric Car Universitas Indonesia) and Fixed Wing Modular Drone both of which are areas of research that he loved since his youth. He also formed a research collaboration between institutions such as the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) and PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (PT. DI) in the field of aircraft engineering and the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), the Department of Transportation, Traffic Police Corps of the Republic of Indonesia, National Oil Company (PERTAMINA), and with several national automotive industries in the field of vehicle engineering. Mohammad Adhitya is married with two daughters and a son whom he felt is always supporting the activities of teaching and researching at Universitas Indonesia. Mohammad Adhitya hopes that he can play a role in advancing automotive technology in Indonesia and can realize the greatest passion in the scoring leaders for the future of the nation he loved, Indonesia.
