Researcher; with expertise in the areas of cloud resource management, OpenFlow enabled Software-Defined Networks (SDN), Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Content Delivery Networks (CDN), indoor/outdoor localization systems, operations research, machine learning, network simulation/emulation, evolutionary computing and high performance computing using CUDA-enabled GPU. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, indoor and outdoor localization techniques, QoS and QoE in vehicular ad hoc networks (WAVE, 802.11p and 1609.4), vehicular clouds, software-defined networks, content delivery networks, network function virtualization and service placement and routing for cloud resource management. His methodologies include operations research, evolutionary computing and high performance computing using CUDA-enabled GPU. On a research grant from Scenaria, Inc, a subsidiary of AVL North America, he has developed business intelligence and data analytics software to facilitate market research, strategic planning and decision making. During this research, he also designed and developed a visual optimization software, leveraging particle swarm optimization to solve domain independent linear and non-linear optimization problems. He serves as a reviewer for conferences, journals and magazines. Software Engineer; specializing in Object-Oriented Design and Analysis with extensive experience in the full life cycle of the software design process including requirements specification, prototyping, proof of concept, design, interface implementation, testing and maintenance, using AGILE Scrum and best practices.
