About Mohammad Almalak

I am a second-year graduate student at Carleton University, with a passion for system modeling and simulation. My interest lies in bridging the gap between software and mechanical engineering. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, I decided to pursue a Master's degree to further develop my skills. During my graduate studies, I have focused on enhancing my expertise in system modeling, including working on the fusion of different sensor data, modeling robotic manipulators, and black-box system identification. Currently, I am working on developing a self-healing auto cybersecurity system for a custom vehicle model as part of my thesis project. Alongside my studies, I have been an enthusiastic teaching assistant for over two years. I find teaching to be a rewarding experience that benefits both the students and the teacher. I have taught various undergraduate courses, including physics, maths, dynamics, and feedback control systems, which have improved my communication, organizational, and time management skills. Additionally, I have worked in customer service, where I learned how to effectively interact with and listen to people from different backgrounds.
