About Mohammad Aurangojeb

I have several years of experience in application of GIS for planning and spatial analysis in different fields. I am experienced in applying different tools of ArcGIS, Geosecma, FME, Autocad, QGIS and GRASSGIS depending on the purposes of analysis. I have also teaching experience for more than 5 years in several courses: GIS, Environmental Geology, Climate change and Earth Science Field Methods. I am experienced in supervising students' thesis projects at Bachelor and Masters level. I have long research background in airborne particles and gases focusing clean air and public health. My recent research is focused on GHG emissions from drained wetland forest soils where especial focus is given to wetland hydrology and forest type. Air quality: I have experience in working with different techniques and instrument such as Condensation Particle counter (CPC), EDXRF, Chemiluminescence and absorption techniques used in the field of air quality research. I am also experienced in developing methods for analysis of Green House Gases by using Gas Chromatography. Aquatic Environment: Experienced in analysis physical and chemical status of lake and rivers water. Geohydrology and geochemistry: Experienced in remediation of contaminated soil and ground water. I have worked in EU Dipol project, where my function was to identify the sources of pollutants in urban water and sediment using different analytical techniques.
