About Mohammad Awada

I hold a Civil Engineering degree from Notre Dame University in Lebanon. I furthered my education with a two year Post-Graduate Certificate in Construction Project Management from Conestoga College, where I gained extensive knowledge in areas such as procurement, jobsite management, risk assessment, planning and scheduling, business communications, quality tools and audits, quantity takeoffs, estimation, building materials, Ontario building codes, value engineering, environmental regulations, and financial analysis. Professionally, I have experience managing and estimating large-scale projects ($2M to $110M), including substations, PCT buildings, and BESS projects. My role involved comprehensive project work, from takeoffs and RFQs to proposal writing, generating estimates, and client communications. I have handled estimates for high & medium-voltage substations, distribution stations and switching stations across various voltages (500kV, 230kV, 115kV, 38kV, 27kV, & 8.8KV) and developed a strong understanding of suppliers in Ontario. I have worked on preparing proposal narratives, risk registers, and requesting tender documents necessary for project closure, including health & safety, quality, and environmental management plans.
