Background
About Mohammad Biglari
As a Clinical Fellow in Breast Cancer at London Health Science Center, I bring a comprehensive and deeply rooted foundation in medical oncology, honed through years of clinical practice and academic leadership at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS). Having earned my medical degree and completed both my internal medicine residency and fellowship training in hematology, medical oncology, and bone marrow transplantation at TUMS, I have cultivated a broad expertise across oncologic disciplines. My prior role as an assistant professor further reinforced my commitment to advancing cancer care through research, teaching, and multidisciplinary collaboration. In this new capacity, I aim to deepen my specialization in breast oncology, contributing to cutting-edge clinical practice and fostering innovation in patient-centered treatment approaches. Currently, I practice as a breast cancer clinical fellow focusing on breast cancer and gynecologic cancers providing latest therapeutic options to cancer patients including immunotherapy, targeted agents and precision oncology. As a transplant physician with history of working in the largest and most advanced transplant facility of Iran, I managed both malignant and non-malignant hematologic conditions. There, we delivered latest stem cell therapies including autologous, allogeneic, haplo-identical and in vitro manipulated stem cell transplant. As the data manager at the research institute for oncology, hematology, and cell therapy (RIOHCT), I was responsible for data administration for large data registries. Academically, I am conducting and supervising several real-world research. My work (>30 abstracts and manuscripts, 4 book chapters) has been published in recognized journals including Lancet journals. As a university affiliate and a medical educator with MS in Medical Education from TUMS, I am actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical student tutoring. Fellow training program was also a daily practice of mine within preceptorship and mentorship programs in TUMS. From an industry perspective I collaborate with some pharmaceutical companies, and I have the privilege of being an active principal investigator on some ongoing studies on therapeutic agents. My goal is to leverage my clinical, academic, and scientific expertise with a focus on Breast Cancer to provide the optimal choice for patients and train future clinical scientists.
