I am a seasoned MEP Electrical Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering, currently working with EES Company in Makkah, KSA, as a Senior Commissioning Engineer on the prestigious Third Saudi Expansion of the Holy Mosque & Surrounding Areas. My expertise spans across Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Low Current Systems, with a strong background in both construction execution and testing & commissioning phases of complex infrastructure and healthcare projects. Key Roles & Responsibilities As Senior Commissioning Engineer: 1. Supervise and manage all Pre-Commissioning, Testing & Commissioning activities and site teams. Support the Commissioning Manager in preparing Testing & Commissioning (T&C) plans, strategies, and progress reports. Develop and coordinate all commissioning documentation, including T&C Method Statements and Operation & Maintenance Manuals. Ensure all systems are tested and commissioned according to project standards in collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors. Guide site engineers and QA/QC teams to complete documentation (MIRs, WIRs) before initiating commissioning. Monitor and document the T&C progress, conduct review meetings, and track action items. Maintain complete records of T&C activities including checklists, reports, and certificates. Finalize and submit all handover documents such as warranties, spare parts lists, as-built drawings, and test results. As Senior Electrical Engineer: 1. Oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to the project schedule and construction methods. Manage manpower and equipment planning, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity. Coordinate with all trades, especially between civil and MEP teams to avoid clashes and delays. Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and ensure compliance with project specifications. Monitor site inspections and quality assurance procedures. Track procurement timelines and ensure timely delivery of materials. Generate and review daily reports to ensure accurate documentation of progress and challenges.
