As a Postdoctoral Associate at Western University, I contribute to cutting-edge research on climate change and its impacts on water resources and flood risk. I apply my expertise in hydrology, flood modeling, and risk management to analyze and predict the effects of extreme weather events on various regions and sectors. I hold a Ph.D. in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Tehran, where I developed and validated a novel flood forecasting model using satellite data and machine learning techniques. I also spent a semester as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Utah, where I collaborated with leading experts in hydrology and water resources science. I have published multiple papers in prestigious journals and conferences, and received several awards and grants for my research excellence and innovation. I am passionate about advancing the scientific knowledge and practical solutions for addressing the global challenges of water security and climate resilience.
