Our team at SPS thrives on delivering Power Distribution solutions with an emphasis on MV Switchgears, leveraging my specialization in Energy Management from UT Dallas to navigate the dynamic energy sector. I contribute to projects that address critical energy transition challenges, aimed at modernizing the current aging electrical grid infrastructure nation wide. I provide input to scope and design of assigned projects; Identify front-end engineering & design (FEED) and Implementation deliverables necessary for the electrical scope of the project My responsibilities include- Ensuring assigned projects comply with all applicable company and electrical industry standards and recommendations throughout all phases of the project, e.g. NEC, ANSI, NEMA, etc. as well as taking ownership of electrical work packages and working directly with our manufacturing to oversee progress at regular intervals- Review and approve equipment spec sheets prior to procurement and support the purchasing of equipment and materials - Support development of company electrical equipment specification, engineering and installation standards - Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination, transient stability, switching transient studies. My goal is to gain experience in Power Systems and commit to innovation for working towards a future where energy is not only powerful but also sustainable and efficient.
