About Mohammad Kaif

Growing up, I've always been curious. From fooling around with application files trying to mod games to being able to write impactful programs of my own, I've come a long way, but the most exciting bit is that this is only the beginning of my journey. I'm Mohammad Kaif, a Computer Science and Engineering senior at I’m passionate about algorithmic problem-solving, applied probability and statistics, and harnessing AI to address real-world challenges. I recently completed a summer internship with the investments team at AXA XL, where we built a model to calculate the divergence of the current asset allocation from the optimal asset allocation using monte-carlo methods, helping the team make data-backed decisions based on their risk appetite. I also work at the FLaMe Lab (Frontier in Language Understanding and Neural Modeling), where we're trying to find methods to distill knowledge graphs in order to improve context-awareness in language models.
