Review of WPS, PQR, WPQ, ITP, Inspection & Testing Procedures. • Full understanding of relevant Inspection and Test plans required for project execution.Surveillance on consumable control, baking and holding temperatures of electrodes, control of unused electrodes, issuance of electrodes, welder monitoring, welder job performance according to their rejection ratios. Review the Dossiers, weld summary sheet, NDE for release pipe spool. Coordinates with third party regarding witnessing of PQR, WQT, and with subcontractor for different NDT jobs related to projects and updating the status. Monitored welding / visual inspection of materials like CS, LTCS (Low temperature carbon steel), Stainless steels. Witness the subcontractors Procedure and performance (welders) qualification, Mechanical testing. Reviewing the documents like PQR, WPS, Weld map, ITP etc. Evaluate and interpret all discontinuities as per relevant codes in R.T, U.T, M.T, & P.T. Also witnessing the NDT test like UT, MT and PT with TP inspectors. Monitor subcontractors all the welding related activities.
