About Mohammad Kharouf

An electrical engineer with 10+ years of experience in leading the design and construction of turnkey electrified transportation projects. My current research focused on facilitating the adoption of zero-emission, electrified public transit systems considering emission reduction targets and distributed energy resources. My passion is to find better ways to shorten distances and bring people together- Experienced in modeling battery systems, energy storage systems, energy consumption, power systems, renewable energy resources, and GHG impact- Proficient with simulation and programming software such as Python, C#.NET, Matlab- Expert in protection coordination study calculations and proper selection of breakers and cables- Proficient with Electrical Design and CAD Software packages such as Simaris, Autocad, Dialux, and Caneco- Experienced in systems engineering and management in different project stages: design, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning.
