Mohammad Muneem | Alif is a poet, singer, songwriter. Winner IRAA Award for the single Like a Sufi, the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival Award for the single Lalnawath, and the IIMA Award for ‘Best Folk Song’ Ride Home. As live Performances Alif’s two acts are 1. Faqat : Merely / Only ( solo set ) 2. Charsu : in all four directions / everywhere ( with more than one piece set, other musicians. Since 2014, he has been teaching song-writing and poetry at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune. He is an adept film-maker and scriptwriter, he conceptualizes and directs videos, playing various protagonist characters in the films/videos. He has Written dialogues for a feature film "Torbaaz", starring Sanjay Dutt. Alif just finished scoring and making songs for a feature film Directed by Shlok Sharma. Written by Shlok Sharma & Shilpa Shrivastava. Produced by Anurag Kashyap & Navin Shetty. Alif just Shot an episode for *Coke Studio 23*. Alif’s work and he himself shall be seen in Amazon Prime Series - Made in Heaven Season 2.
