About Mohammad Rashedi

I am a data scientist in the Operation Transformation and Digital Strategy (OTDS) group at Amgen. My passion lies in implementing machine learning algorithms in real-world applications. Additionally, I specialize in designing and deploying advanced controllers based on model-based reinforcement learning and model predictive control. Some notable achievements in my career include: 1) Designing a model predictive controller to maximize productivity in complex biopharmaceutical processes. 2) Developing a model-based reinforcement learning approach to optimize feed strategies in fed-batch processes. 3) Pioneering the integration of Just-In-Time Learning with variational autoencoders (VAE) for real-time prediction of quality attributes. 4) Implementing convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to predict quality attributes using Raman spectroscopy. 5) Successfully conducting system identification and data-driven modeling and validation with limited data using machine learning techniques.
